January 8, 2012 Set List

This past sunday was a great morning at Grey Stone! You could definitely feel the Holy Spirit moving through the whole service. We opened the morning with the fun and upbeat song Happy Day! It was a great way to kick the morning off in high energy, but better than that, everything that song says is what we truly have to celebrate as believers! Its because of His Gospel that we can truly worship Him! After our opening song we went right into baptism! I can’t even begin to explain how much this added to our worship service. Our worship seemed to go to another level, being able to celebrate with a fellow believer who was publicly professing their faith in Christ was an amazing moment! From there we did a set of three songs. The last song before pastor came was Day After Day. We just introduced this song for the first time the week before, so I was anxious to see how it would go over this week. It was fantastic to say the least, there was a moment at the end when I just stepped away from the microphone and it sounded like a million voices coming at us on the stage! It is always such a blessing to engage with God’s people in worship, and I am so thankful to be able to do that at Grey Stone!

This was our second week in a row of having an army on stage, well at least thats what we are calling it! There has been a total of 8 of us on stage leading in worship and it has been amazing. We have two electric guitarist, acoustic, bass, violin, keys, drums, and an additional vocalist. In addition on backing vocals our keys, bass, and electric guitarist are singing as well. These guys and girls are bringing so much to the table, and adding so much to our worship services! Its an honor to be able to serve them and serve along side them! I am so excited to see how God continues to move in and through Grey Stone!
